Press release: Poor information management loses companies several million euros a year

Elium maintains its leadership position in the Lecko ranking on knowledge sharing

Paris, February 13, 2019 -Elium, the European leader in the field of knowledge sharing, has kicked off 2019 in style - maintaining its place at the top of the Lecko ranking in their recently published report on digital collaboration tools.

According to research by the Information Management Association, employees waste up to one day a week searching for information unsuccessfully. In organisations with over 1000 employees, this is the equivalent of around 2700 euros lost per employee. This leads them to create 60% more digital files than needed, causing duplicates. To challenge this, Elium helps employees locate, share and contextualise information, saving them time and reducing the volume of email exchanges by up to 80%, as seen recently by the insurer D.A.S., a user of the solution since 2017.

In this context of content proliferation, providing the right information to the right person at the right time is more critical than ever. Over the last 10 years, Elium has been facilitating digital transformation by providing companies with solutions that enable a new knowledge management experience, more editorial, collaborative and social. The user is invited to create content and capitalise on it in publication or collaboration spaces.

More to come

2019 promises to be a good year for Elium as they continue to make improvements to their technology, infrastructure and support services. They are also investing in their mobile app, enabling customers to have a fully mobile experience. The updated version is now available for Elium customers on iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play. With an improved design, easier navigation and better contextualisation of information, it helps increase the productivity and mobility of employees.

"We’re very proud to maintain our leading position in the 2019 Lecko ranking. We feel that our position in the European market is becoming stronger and stronger thanks to the growth of our teams and the development of new functionalities," commented Antoine Perdaens, CEO of Elium. "With the development of real-time communication tools and the rise of artificial intelligence, we believe that our organisation has a bright future ahead."
